I always love to buy Taiwanese products because of their reliability and affordability. Since I live in India, I can easily but any type of Taiwanese products especially the ones related to computer and IT technology. Therefore, I prefer to get myself registered with those companies who organize different events on different localities of India so as to get awareness on latest technologies and inventions made by Taiwan. One of such companies is Digit who organized a great event “Taiwan Excellent Lifestyles Exp and Brand Forum” in Mumbai on 17th September where I was also invited by Digit.
This was a great chance for me to watch their latest IT products and their prices. It was a great event and different Indian celebrities were also invited. Initially I was confused to join such a great event but I thought it could give me more awareness on latest IT products and Taiwanese brands about which I am so much crazy. I took my registration easily from the hall and then moved forward to see what’s going on there.
The event was really an evidence of the efforts and success achieved by Taiwanese brands especially in the field of IT and computer technology. There were numerous brands and models of different computer systems, routers, laptops, D-link, Acer, BenQ. The whole event was made interesting with different types of contests and lucky draws. I also participated in a quiz lucky draw by filling in a form. There were lots of prizes for the lucky winners like routers, USBs, Wireless connections, cell phones. I was just trying my luck and was astonished to see that I was amongst those lucky winners who participated in the lucky draw and got selected. I was asked to receive my gift by signing in a form and submitting the photocopy of my NIC. I was really very happy to make one use of my visit.
The stalls were equipped with the latest computer accessories and models and were offering a very reasonable and affordable price. I selected a wireless system for my computer and made inquiry about its installation and other related procedures. Then we were asked to move to a great hall where a conference was organized by different Taiwanese companies. They were focusing on their latest inventions and efforts made in the field of IT industry and provided a complete overview on company’s next planning and inventions. It was a great experience of attending such a superb conference where the heads and chairmen of all companies were giving the answers of the questions asked by audience and visitors.
One of the great features of this event was the announcement of IT Traveler Go contest. The list of the winners was announced by the famous Indian actress Malaika Arora.
I enjoyed this event very much and counted it as one of the most thrilling experiences of my life.
