Realme has announced its much anticipated Quad Camera phones under its Realme 5 series, which included — the Realme 5 and the Realme 5 Pro smartphones. Additionally, the company had also announced the upcoming Realme XT smartphone, which is the first phone from the company to feature a 64MP primary sensor. Amidst the releases, the company’s Chief Marketing Officier (CMO), Xu Qi Chase has announced on his Weibo account, suggesting a new Realme series set to launch next week.

Well, going by the teaser image shared on the Weibo account by Realme’s CMO and Realme itself for that matter, it appears it is certainly not the Realme 5 series launch instead of a new series altogether next week. With the image shared, the CMO has also stated that this new series from Realme’s focus would be on higher performance and camera capabilities. This new series could possibly debut next week, and the CMO has asked Realme fans to start guessing the ‘suitable series’ name in reference to the image shared.

New Realme series’ teaser image shared could possibly mean the launch of a new gaming series to take on rival Xiaomi as it has the Black Shark gaming series. To recall, Realme has also embraced the launch of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855+ SoC, despite not having a true flagship phone from the company yet. Hence, this could be the new gaming series phone featuring Snapdragon 855+ SoC and could also be featuring the new 64MP sensor introduced by the company’s CEO Madhav Sheth recently.

The new Snapdragon chipset and the new camera sensor ticks the checkboxes of the CMO post shared regarding the new series phone’s capabilities. Moreover, another chipset maker MediaTek, has also announced its new MediaTek Helio G90 and G90T chipsets, which are said to be gaming-focused SoCs. Henceforth, Realme appears to be having these new chipsets for its alleged gaming series other than the latest Snapdragon 855+ SoC. Let’s see to what Realme has to bring to the table with this new series next week. Stay connected to PhoneRadar for more such interesting updates.
